opened the hood to work on my nytro and noticed the valve cover has turned like a white , chalkie color. My 04 Venom never had this happen but the triple had a red paint on the valve cover, the one on my 06 nytro was just aluminum. Is this normal? No oil leaks or antifreeze leaking, just wondering?

That actually comes from drinking to much beer 
No really it is just oxidation from moisture , clean it off and a little mothers polish will remedy.
On another note are you going to be around for the shootout in Feb.?
