Wondering what you guys are seeing for top speed on the 04's radar or speedo

with my 04 warrior running ecp kits , heelclickers, bender pipe, simmons skis, stock gearing on hard pack 1 inch of fluff maybe .5 mile i have seen 127 on the speedo, i know on ice i would see 130. that impresses me because on my 03 cross country rx's with the same mods minus the ecp kits and the stock gearing which should be better for top end then an 04 warrior on an ice road between pittston farm and seboomec sp? i saw 126, and that was ice, so my 04's are faster. i routinlely see 116-118 on snow trails around moosehead

Friends Warrior did 114mph on radar at Goose Bay near Alexandria Bay N.Y. couple Sundays ago. Low elevation.All STOCK untouched,ex Ski-doo guy(I showed him the light) still learning about Yamahas.He did put in 162 trail studs.

04 RX1 shortie ER...only 220 miles on it. On ice with light 1-2 inch snow cover....115 on speedo........next day with 4-6 inch snow 110 on speedo. The temperature was cold both days. Sled not yet broken in, is stock except for 192 studs.....track is tight to keep the studs off the tunnel.

Thanks for the speed guys. Just alittle back ground. I'm thinking of putting the ripsaw on. We only ride on groomed trails and lakes. I have a .92 on right now, no studs. I come out of the hole well with all other sleds, but the studded ones jump me then I have to reel them in. People say the hook up on hard pack with the ripsaw is like a studded track. Which is what I'm looking for, BUT I don't want to give up much top end. With the .92 track I have seen 132 on speedo, with an average of 125-127. This is on hard pack grromed lakes. SO I'm looking for the best of both worlds. Studding is not a option for me.
Has anyone with an 03 put a ripsaw on? And if so, what has the difference in top speed?

If I may ask what do you have done to your sled to do 119 on radar?
What conditions are you running to make that speed?

all that was done was 137.5 main jets rased needles one notch with dalton 57.5 arms / blue/black spring in primary with 54r46 helx green spring temp+20 c on ice at 10500 rpm with witness ask kmer and i ran faster on the lake with a farther run stk air box gearing carbs stk track no studs ow yes i took the belt side clerance down to 0.20 thou this little trick helped me reel in those mach z boys. boy were they suprized. once i took the side clearance dowen no more spinning the track forever it would hook up so hard that it would stand on the tail lite
