I am putting my head back on tomorrow with 3 head gaskets on my Apex. I hear there is a special "Ted's torque specs". Can someone let me know what that is. Much appreciated. I love this site. Lots of good information. Oh and a big thanks to Ted.

I believe it is in 3 steps 15-25-38 foot pounds then back off 1/4 turn and retorque to 38 foot pounds. You must use moly lube on both sides of washers and bolt threads. Do a search for posts by Ted and you will find what you need. I did mine this way and have no problems with the head gaskets at all thanks to Ted and Allen. I had to order ARP moly lube from Summit Racing because I could not find it anywhere locally.
