I am new to Yamaha and am the new owner of a 2008 Nytro MTX.
I am just going through it to make sure everything is ready for the snow that we are expected to have this year
In testing the TORS, I found that I cannot get it to engage when testing it as per the manual. (pull the pivot point of the throttle away from the handle bar mount and apply throttle).
I have tested the switch at the handle bar and it shows continuity when it is pressed.
I have disconnected the TORS connectors in front of the Radiator which then activates the TORS to prevent the engine from revving above 2900 RPM and displays the 84 code.
I just can't get it to engage during the test as described in the manual with the throttle lever.
Am I missing something or is there a problem somewhere else?
