Torsion spring rail mount wear?

Anyone ever see this. The torsion spring is sawing through mount and had made to to collar. Sled does have the 4 position yamaha blocks up top for 2 up seat.

normal. all torsion spring sleds do this. depending on riding, i have to do them every 3-5 years.

Put some grease on the sliding surface and they will last a little longer. Changing these as needed before they destroy the aluminum mount is part of summer maintenance.

They are a perishable part - should be stopped out for new.
