Hey Guys could not help but notice that the rear of my 09 XTX (900 miles) is sagging (under its own weight) quite a bit more then last year(flat on garage floor) seems soft all of a sudden, last year it was nice and stiff! I am thinking the rear springs maybe a little sacked out, My question is can I use springs off an 09 RTX? Will they be stiffer or softer then stock XTX springs?
Do you think the springs will get weak just sitting? Am I on the right track here? Suspension actually collapsed backing off the trailor and sucked in the snow flap this has never happened before backed off the trailor at least 100 times with no issues. What ya think?

RTX springs are too short. Guys have cut Apex MTN springs down but I found that 07 Apex RTX springs are perfect fit and they are a stock 1900NM spring compared to the 1100NM spring in the XTX.

Suspended
Mine was doing the same thing, called Hygear and ordered thier spring spacer kit. Its like a completely different suspension now, sag stays consistent with your adjustments.

I added some weight to my skid last year, (extra wheels).
Along with the extra snow she seems to gather...
For me... stock 1100 xtx springs have either broken it big time or I just think they are too soft.
I used both Hygear spacers and the overdrive 4th position sping adjusters last year.
Both seemed to help, but I'm digging into my wallet again to try the new stiffer 2011 xtx springs offerd by Yamaha.
Ulmer has some stiffer springs avail too.
