Had my sled running in the shop today when I’d rev it up say to 3400 the TPS showed 2% open the sled would rev up on its own to 5500 rpm with out me moving the throttle and the TPS still showed 2%. In assuming this isn’t normall. It won’t let me post the video, says it’s to big. It’s a 2014 mpi turbo with a PCV. Not sure what flash is on it as I’ve never had it flashed.

It could be normal. You check tps by checking range and linear. Should be 0 at idle and 85-100% wide open. Should be able to see everything in between with no big gaps.

Yeah it’s at 0 and goes to 98. Just conceded me that it would rev up over 2000 rpms with out the throttle moving or the TPS showing it moving. Didn’t know if it was normal or not. Hate to drive 6 hrs north to the UP to ride and have issues.

I havent done it recently but at lower rpm throttle is real touchy. Alot is the mapping. some is just the tach is real slow and very difficult to get a good reading down low. Just be sure it doesnt take off on you. 5000 rpm your for sure should be engaged and moving. The motor needs load to run properly.
