How long to change track 06 Apex GT from dealer??? Don't want to get ripped off!!!Whats average time todo it?Thanks in advance guys.

Its about a 4-beer job. I think that translates into about 2 hours. It certainly shouldn't take any more than that. 10-beer off and 14-beer on for a beginner.

I agree - I can do it in about 2 hours alone and I've only swapped 4 tracks on Apex's (plus about 30 tracks on other sleds).
I watched a team of 4 at a small dealership in Quebec swap a track on an Apex ER in under 30 minutes. They all worked together and it was very impressive to watch (the only thing that bugged me was they didn't locktite and torque everything with a torque wrench like I would).
It still works out to 2 man hours though (although they only charged $45 labor or 1 hour). I consider the $45 an exceptionally cheap price for a track swap though. Expect to pay a lot more than that.

I gave yamaha a piece of my mind about my many problems,transfer rod falling off and cutting track,hand warmers,shock wire,mono shock leaking,chain case leaking!!!They said they would not do anything for the track or the hand warmers!!!They had gave me a new rod and said they would look after the shock and the chain case if i took it to dealer.GOOD WILL they called it ! Dealer said he would sell me a track for his cost ,this is why the questions.!!!Got a price for a track from another dealer $529.95 can. Don't have a glue what dealer cost would be in Canada???ANY IDEAS???So 2 hrs sounds like about right for track change or 4 inches from a 40 oz. of Crown Royal!!!
