I have the line on a 144"x2" Track off of a 2007 Polaris RMK.

Just wandering if anyone thinks it would fit on a XTX and if I would need to change the drivers or anything.

Thanks Guys Let Me Know ASAP!!!

With a 2" track you are going to have to make a few changes. The track will fit with the removal of the tunnel protectors. I would run extroverts which means you need a fully clipped track, lower gearing, and adjust clutching. With the drivers, you will have to cut the rails back 3/8" too.

I think polaris went to 2.86 drivers in 07.

Also you don't NEED fully clipped tracks for extros, but you will need all of the windows cut out (you can do it with a hole saw bit -5/8" I think?) You will wear the track out a bit faster not being fully clipped, but I think thats more of an issue on the newer graphite slides from what I read.

Don't need to trim the rails either. There is 2" of clearance from the rail tips and the driver tips. No way for them to hit that we could find when we installed 9 tooth. Cycled the suspension and it never hit. Yamaha dealer here has installed over 30 sets of 9 tooth extrovert drivers on XTX without trimming the rails.

I just finished installing a 2 inch polaris track. Fits perfect. You will have to remove the stud protectors. I am still running the OEM drivers and no issues. Completely changes the Nytro XTX.

I changed the drivers on my '10 XTX to 9 tooth wahl bros. Had the dealer do the track (2" challenger) and the drivers at the same time. Brought er home and i never even got it off the trailer without the rails rubbing, literally. I also had some ratcheting with OEM drivers, especially on that nice crusty surface we get on the snow here in SE Sask. But, as i learned, trial and error! I never had the cash to do it all at first, so thats how i ended up with a non-fully clipped, non-opened window'd Polaris track haha.

2" track, 8 tooth wahls = 5/8" of clearance from cooler.

Its also the polaris track, Tracks Canada kit. I used a 5/8" hole saw to cut the windows, not clipped.
