I have the line on a 144"x2" Track off of a 2007 Polaris RMK.

Just wandering if anyone thinks it would fit on a XTX and if I would need to change the drivers or anything.

Thanks Guys Let Me Know ASAP!!!

What drivers do you have on the XTX right now. I just put a 1 3/4" Back country on 9 tooth extroverts no problem, no trimming the rail tips either..

That polaris track is it a series 4 or 5. Does it have like little teeth at the very tips. If so trim it down to just get rid of them and the track bites better. Did it to my 2005 RMK. Works out to 1 3/4" Plenty of trackl for Saskatchewan. Ran mine like that for 3700 miles so far no problems at all. Easy to do just get a 1" utility knife and something to use as a guide that is the height you want to cut. Takes about a hour or less.

Stock drivers are ok, Extro's just let you run the track looser then normal because the also drive on the clip windows. I just did a XTX that was sold by Reed's in Regina and they installed 8 tooth drivers and we changed them back to 9 tooth. Gear down if you think you need to, maybe 20 tooth, 21 I think is stock.. The track has to have every window open for extro's to work. Yamaha sells extroverts for $90 each I think. If it is a 2.52 pitch track on that Polaris and the same one I had on my 2005 RMK, I liked it alot better when I trimmed it to 1.75. I did one to 1.6 and it seemed to hook up on the trail a bit better but not enough to make me cut off so little again. Just used a board that I had on hand and it was the right height.

Tomorrow I should be trimming my MTX track down to 1.75 also. I find the driver is more important then the track for the most part. If you can't feel what the sled is doing, no amount of track is going to keep you out of trouble . For flatland riding 1.5 - 1.75 is all anyone really needs for trail /offtrail type riding. Mountain riding different story.
