Track clips and tool

Am I the only one loosing track clips? 06 APEX GT 6300 miles. I'm missing about 8 of them so far. Will the track clip tool work on all types of track clips? Does it make more sence to replace the track with 6000 miles plus on it?

all leads back to 130mm wheels,too much slide wear/heat throws clips IMO.
