It's not like I'll use the tool more than once a year at most, lol. I have no problem letting a fellow TY member borrow it. My last order of clips came from Parts Unlimited but you might also try Dennis Kirk. The clips won't break. Unlike some of the other tools, the TracksUSA one completely surrounds the clips so they crimp really nice and even. I do have PayPal but we can take it to PM's from here. Just let me know when your ready for it!

Dennis Kirk has the clips, but they are 1 13/16" rather than the 1 3/4". Not sure if that matters much. Other than that, the 1" and 3/4" dimensions match. Did you stick with the Camoplast clips or go with the aftermarket clips? I plan on ordering the clips tomorrow, so I will PM you this weekend and we can go from there. Looks like our snow will stay around for a little longer. So far in March, our Cascade mtns. have gotten 15 ft. of snow... at least that's what the news people are saying.

Looking in the DK catalog you would want part#08-0559 for the flat clips. I'd stick with camoplast.

So the difference between 1 13/16" and 1 3/4" is nothing to worry about? I found some on other sites that call out the 1 3/4" and I measured mine and that's what it's about. I wouldn't think it would be much of a difference, but I'm totally new to this.

Won't make a bit of difference. The flat clips are 1 3/4, the guide clips are 1 13/16. Stick to camo part number I posted above and you'll be good to go, that's what I just used in my track.

Thanks for that info. I may wait till off season to do this as I might get a new track. Only have another month or so of riding. My current track is missing a few lugs that have been torn off riding in low snow conditions. I take it most of the new tracks out there are only clipped every other, or does Camoplast clip every window? I'm either looking to stay with the 2.25" track and was recommended the powerclaw track. Would hate to fully clip my current track, just to swap it out in a few months. And another question, I notice on my Arctic Cat sled that the guides on the clips are on the outside of the hyfax and on my Nytro, they are on the inside... is there a correct orientation?
