Hello,

I noticed that my track cogs were damaged, started to look around to what caused it, and noticed that the center shock top bolt was doing all the damage.

This is a new track with about 60 miles.

Just seems like a very bad place for the bolt.

Anyone else have this problem?

Should I worry about this damage causing more damage?

If you aren't noticing any difference when riding , leave it , just keep checking to see if it there is more damage occurring. I ran my touring sled with every center cog chewed off for 2 years until I found a cheap track .

No big deal run it......been running mine like that for 3 years......those track guides on front arm broke off and did that to my track

Thanks everyone. I'll run it the way it is and see what happens.

The person I bought it from had a 10"x5" chunk from the edge tear off---we both have no idea how that happened. Got lucky because the piece that tore off had studs on it barely missing the front heat exchanger by about an inch---there is now a nice hole about the size of stud right above the heat exchanger.

Kind of weary about the track now---never had a problem with tracks before getting this machine. Saw this and was worried my track might start falling apart, studs may go flying everywhere, and holes may be punctured in all kinds of places.

I ran my old arctic cat for two winters with this exact damage. Never even noticed it.
