I bought a track last year and just got done installing it and noticed this nasty cut. Will the track last with this? Any way to repair it?

I think it will last. Not much different then stud pull through. Interested to hear others as I am no expert

If that cut goes all the way thru the track it will not last, if it is just thru the rubber and hasnt cut the plys.......you will be ok

the tear is all the the way threw. Where are the plys in a track?

if the plys are the fiberglass rods, they are just above the cut in the pic (finger)

i wonder if there is a way to put 2 rivets or something on either side of the cut with some sort of flexible plastic or whatever material to prevent the cut from getting worse.

i don't know just throwing random thoughts out there.

from experience if you don't do anything to fix it, it will not last. I believe someone drilled a hole at the end of the cut to prevent more tearing. I did not hear if it worked or not.

any other input guys I found a good deal on a cobra or should i hold out for a intense? if i dont use this track i just lost $200 dollars.

Google Carrol Tech track repair. You'll find a few places that do this repair.
