Track installation 06 Vector LTX

Does anyone know an easy way to get track and suspension lined up with bolt holes? I struggle with them every time . Just replaced exhaust donuts, exhaust flex pipes and bracket that holds the three pipe up, on an 06 Vector LTX. Want to finish up and put away for the summer.

There is no easy way as far as I know?

It seems some have trouble and others don't.

I have done mine twice now, the first time was a pita and second time was much easier?
Just make sure things are lined up square/straight, put fronts in frst, disconnect transfer rod and hope the back lines up easy.

I have a 120" track so not sure if they are the same but I put the front bolts in first; then hook a ratcheting tie down strap around the suspension and tighten it so that it compresses the coil spring that's around the suspension shock. It only takes a little bit and I can pull the rear cross shaft forward right into position to start the rear bolts by hand.

Disconnect the weight transfer rod and the limiter strap. Should line up fairly easily then. It does help to have a second person on the other side to help jiggle or push on things until the holes line up. Much easier to hook the transfer rod and limiter strap back up than to fight with that monospring.

i used to fight with it on all my sleds

always slack off the rear axel ....lots...
like 10 turns on the bolts

the front ones go in, first of course

flip the springs over so there is no tension
it makes the 2 rear bolts holes way easier to line up
