track question

i just got an 06 apex and i have a question about the track every closed window has it looks like a broken stud that runs exactly in line with the slides on both sides it looks like snapped off studs but they not the threads are in good shape not like a broken stud if that makes any sence i don`t if this is the way it came from yamaha or if it`s an update for slide wear from yamaha any info. would be helpful thanks in advance.

not sure what they are called , but yes they are put on to help slide wear or speed ? (usually aftermarket , not a Yamaha update)

They are called anti wear pads. They are marketed to decrease friction, and hyfax wear.
