I have an 07 RTX and I have just completed my 500 km break in and went through evering thing and tightened the track and it still ratchets quite bad. Does anyone else have this problem and how do I fix issue?

I have 22 lbs of weight that I put on the track and with that I show 1" 1/4" space. With that no ratcheting so far. I had backed off the track more but it ratcheted in deep powder only. I did go one hole up in the strap for handling reasons but that seemed to help the ratcheting also.

extrovert drivers are the only way to go. unless you like to run it tight enough to melt the hifax and lose a ton of power to friction there arent any other options.

I tightened it to what you are saying (1-1/4 25lbs) and it ratchets in deep powder. Where do I find exterverts and how much $, are they much work to install.
Thanks

ski doo extroverts are very good quality and $100 a pair. you need a hydraulic press to install them. you can do a search for the part #. you need the 9 tooth.

There was a place I was looking at that does it all for you. You ship them your jackshaft and they press on the new drivers for you with the right spacing and ship them back to you. Can't find the name but I'll keep looking. Thinking of doing it in the off season. Going 1 up on the limiter strap also made a difference for me.

Did you end up going with extrovert/combination drive sprockets?

Which ones and how did it work out?
