Got inspecting the sled tonight to find a stud pulled though...should of never studded the outside of the track
My questions are...what is the best way to fix this, and should i take the remaining outside studs out? As far as fixing it, i was thinking of installing a new stud and backer and cutting the stud off? Thanks.

How many miles on the track?
If it were me - I'd bite the bullet and buy a new track (espcially if your keeping to machine for a couple of more seasons).
If you only drive 60mph max, and don't go far from home then maybe do what you suggest.
But if you ride hard and go more than walking distance from home, I wouldn't take the risk of it ripping on you and causing more damage (wheels, heat exchangers, ect.) or down time on the trail. Runnning with no studs is not fun or safe.
There are some track repair guys out there that can vulcanize the track together which would be the proper and only repair method that would be recommend for a 140HP machine, I would suspect. Probably $$'s, and if your track is worn anyway, replace it with a new one.

For the cheap repair method...
CUT off the loose piece entirely, and taper it as much as possible to avoid it snagging on stuff. On my last sled, I lost a chunk of the track like that ON THE FIRST RIDE, I cut it off, and it never got any worse. Lots of miles.
