Had to cut a ride short tonight. I noticed that at any speed above 25 mph there is a vibration I can feel in the footwells and it feels like the track is rubbing on something. I took a peak underneath and there was some ice buildup, but it was not frozen hard so I don't think that would cause a vibration. Of course, I cannot see what is going on way up on top of the track either. When I ran the sled on the stand, I think that vibration was still present. Kind of hard to tell though.
The only thing that happened tonight was that I got stuck for a minute on the side of a hill. I smoked the belt a little getting her straightened out...track was down in pretty good and didn't spin so the belt slipped and smoked. I don't think this has anything to do with the vibration, but I wanted to mention it in case it does.
Other than the vibration, no unusual noises or changes in performance.
Please share any thoughts/ideas/suggestions.

Check for a flat spot on the belt---will cause vibration

Good thought. That may have happened. I noticed a little piece of fiber is coming out of the side of the belt in one spot.

Nice call on the belt. I think that is it. I found a flat spot on it about three inches long. Bought a new belt today and am gonna try it tonight.

It was the belt that was bad. New one installed and it's never been smoother. Seems as though I lost a little acceleration though. Oh well. Thanks again!
