Is it just me or does it seem like the track on the RX-1 needs to be tightened extra tight to eliminated skipping?

How many miles have you got? New tracks are stretching some, it will go away after say 500 hundred miles or so.

I have about 3200 miles on it now. The track did stretch. It's pretty good now, no more ratcheting, but whenever I hit a bump at any little speed, somthing starts rubbing on the track for a second. I think it might be my front heat exhchanger that is bent back, on the bottom, ever so slightly toward the shaft. I think it the track is still loose enough that when I hit the bump, the track rubs the heat exchanger.

I don't get how the track can get so stretched. I have had other sleds with camo tracks without any problem. Could it be that the strands of thread within the rubber are all torn up? That's the only way I could explain it.
