I noticed running it too loose it will wear the rear of the sliders sooner. Too tight the curve wears. There IS a sweet spot, and it's NOT the factory setting. Factory is too tight and just snug after ratchet is too loose.

From a visual clue standpoint, on my Apex I run the track tension so that the tops of the track guide lugs are about even or just slightly below the bottom of the hyfax in the center of the skid.
