Tracks?

Yes Pete, Iceripper XT does now come in the 2.52" pitch 121" long. PS, I sold the Turbo Cat yesterday. Back to my Attak, glad it didn't sell. LOL

favorcat, tunnel protection is still required using an Iceripper. The small studs are about .225"-.250" over the lugs after running track.

WOW..you sold the turbo?? Can I ask why? Just curious.....

Snowbeast i run with 3/4 other apexs mostly the same mods some days i beat them the next day they beat me, i never saw the mphs gain, though maybe the exts drivers robbed that few mph away. It does seem to be smoother on the trail belive its maybe due to no reg studs. Its a good trail ridding track Jeff

So, who has a fully clipped Iceripper XT for a good price?

I called tracksusa a couple weeks ago and they quoted me $499 for the 121" 1.25 lug.

I need the 136 for my Attak

Here's is where I picked up my Ice Ripper XT:
http://www.cbperformanceparts.com/products/?pcid=103

Best price I could find.

Btw, I love the Ice Ripper...great track. It won't win any races on ice, but in the trails, it holds great, and no more worries about drilling holes, studding, pull throughs, replacement studs, punctured exchangers, holes in snow flap, saves $$$ in the end.

Whats the difference between Ice Ripper and Ice Ripper XT. Besides "single ply tech" Either one better or worse? Not much difference in price. Looks like the XT is fully clipped, weighs a little more and has the sharp studs.

I guess my question is how is single ply tech? I'm all about reliability.

Time will tell regarding the durability of these new single ply tracks...I hope mine lasts.

As far as I know the XT have the sharper studs and that's about it.

Mine is the single ply XT sharp stud and looks brand new yet at just over 2000 miles. It's a GREAT track for the trail. Just don't expect drag race traction. It will last as well as any other track made as long as you don't throttle over the plowed fields and drive like some of the morons out there that feel the need to be spinning out of every corner.

Mine is a single ply also have 3300 hundred miles on it this year still looks ok, i run this track very hard, it has held up so far. This is a good track with no worry about studs. Jeff

Hey mike the ice ripper xt is the comes in 121x15x1.25 prestudded and sharpened 256 tips in the ripsaw flavor, now it saids its clipped every window, but all the pics i see show a pace3 design,in other words all windows are open, but only clipped every 3rd for 37lbs and number is 9077h price at cb's is 490 bucks,he also shows the new ice attak prestudded and sharpened hacksaw track 121x15x1.063 lug height has a few studs more at 264 and does look to be clipped every window and it does weigh in at 38lbs,my bet is the extra clipps even though it has less lug height,is where the extra 1 lb is. have you run this track,it would appear that it may be just a tad faster on top than the same thing in the ripsaw version, but i would be giving up some soft snow traction, for better sliding thru the turns like i like to drive, mike do you think it will hold up better,or as good as the xt does,oh ya its a little cheaper in price at 445 bucks. thanks Pete
