I guess it depends on what you want.
The values of the two sleds may be similar but I think the Phazer will be worth more on paper. I guess it depends on the shape and mods done to the RX-1.
The RX-1 will certainly have more power but be considerably heavier than the Phazer.
RX-1's are the first generation of Yamaha fourstrokes. Not that they are bad but, Yamaha has learned an awful lot about building fourstrokes since 03.

They are totally different animals. Phazer mtn if 543lbs dry and 80hp. An 03 RX-1 stock is 630lbs and 138hp, but an RX-1, lightenned, is around 530lbs. We have a fellow ton rider who bought a phazer for his daughter. He recently smacked his front end on his ton and is waiting for parts so has had to ride the phazer in the meantime. He really has to struggle. Bottom line: in the mountains the phazer is not even close to being in the same class as a lightenned rx1.

man we took the exhause off of ours an the things rips on flat ground but when my dad had to switch for the season on to the phazer cuz his ton went down he is really becomin more of RIDER!!!..... straight to the point the phazer is a will be a good sled with about 140hsp i cant wait to try an get a turbo for hers
