Could someone let me know how the snow mass is holding up.

Was planning to go for a ride on Monday (12th), but the status of the trails is changing from green and going limited as we speak.

Need some help from someone who lives up there.

Thanks
Mark

It's melting by the minute. Not good as of Wednesday 9:30 am, but calling for some wet snow instead of rain. At this point probably not worth the trip coming up.

the trails here in Bracebridge are cooked , with the forecast I see by Monday Kearney will be done , can let you know on Sat or Sun if you want

Thats to bad... I was in Huntsville last weekend and trails were great.. Wanted to come up 1 more time.. :letsnow:

we rode Pt sydney to Baysvile on Tues and trails were the best of the winter , but the rain washed the snow off the top and left a very thin dirty frozen base , I posted a couple pics on Hardcore Sledder

Update, as of noon Friday conditions seem to be good to go for at least one more weekend on most local trails although we lost about half our snow. Few water spots on trails that are half frozen and currently snowing to get a bit of lube on icey trails.

Thanks all for the update. Keep it coming, if the trails could just hang on. I fear Sunday is going to be killer, another double digit heat wave.

Going to wait until Sunday before calling it. More updates would be great.

Trying to get one last ride in, may prove to be difficult.......

Thanks all

Ms

cooling off tonight with a couple inches of snow , you might be good tommorrow and a bit of sunday , after that the long warm that will be the end

It's Sunday am, iam outside of collingwood in Singhampton and it is still freezing freezing here. We got 3" of snow Friday and is still sticking around. Saturday was pretty cold.

It's supposed warm up today, do you guys think the seguin trail will hold up until tomorrow?

Thanks

Ms

I would go today if you can , and stay off the seguin and ride the 300 series around Kearney there more in the bush and out of the sun and less traffic , I hear a couple guys rode around Baysville yesterday and said it was fair , you go out Hwy 118 east for 20 mins turn left on Black River Rd and go for 10 Mins ther is a big launch area there , lots of long logging rd runs there , go into Baysville for lunch and gas and return to launch , this is a idea only , cant gaurantee trails though as I have not been on them Recently

Thanks for the help. I agree with your comment, today was the day but got stuck doing something ..... Was hoping to squeak Monday in but. Does not look good. We could watch the snow melt today it was so warm.

Sad to say, cleaned up both sleds getting them ready for their summer nap. looks like its a wrap for 2012. Too bad, riding just a weeke ago was stellar.
