Quebec Conditions

I just returned from Shawinigan/Monts Valin. I would not recommend the Shawinigan area as snow was thin, and the rain made everything icy, but north of that near Relais 22, and over to Lac St. Jean was very good. South side of Lac St. Jean was thin, but the north side was good, and Mount Valain was great. I found it very spoty for snow, so you might hear alot of different accounts.

Closest to you in Prescott is Montpellier north of Thurso. Conditions are listed as excellent and more snow on the way. Spoke to a club director (Les Marauder's) yesterday and he says best conditions of the year right now! Just completed a 1,000km loop after the last warm spell and conditions were 90% fantastic, 10% fair. Montpellier, Nominingue, Chute Ste Phillippe, St Anne du Lac, Manawan, around Lac Tarreau to Saint Michel Des Saints and back thru Parc de Mont Tremblant. All great fun! I guess it all depends on how much rain comes this weekend, good luck!

How many days to do Rouyn Noranda to Thunder Bay ? Or should I look for Manitoba?

Coyote: l'an prochain je ferai l'est de l'Ontario, je te ferai signe.
