I have been out 4 times this month and have logged more miles this month than all of last year. Who would have thought that before Christmas 2024 we got in this much riding.. Pretty good start even with these back to back warm spells.. These days you have to be ready when the conditions are right no matter when that is if you want some use out of your investment. With the current pole’s shifts the weather will continue to be anything but normal . Current weather trends will be brief and looks to flip back and forth… Sure enjoyed it so far!!! How about you?

i sure hope you get some great winter weather this coming year as we have been lucky enough to have had some Lake effect that has really helped our area… I feel for the less fortunate…..

Your just south of Gaylord in the snow belt so your area is better than most year after year until the last two years which have been terrible in terms of a normal winter… Is that how you would describe your area?

I'm just a touch jealous, had some things come up and just couldn't make it out.

I was very fortunate to go check the trails and they happened to be groomed and very good the first two trips out.. Then we had a short warm spell that really had little effect on them.. Then third time out I ran into some deep not groomed trails and was breaking trail for like 20 miles and running most of the trip on the same trail that had one or two sleds down them.. Then the next day everything was groomed so that was great.. Ya we were blessed with good early riding for sure..

Good God!! I'm happy for you S.S. I to wish temps would stabilize, freeze everything up, so we can rock & roll.

Ya we got that same warm up coming and that is no good news.. But we got 4 to 5 inches forcasted right before the warm up and if that happens we should get in a day of riding again..
