Trail Tank Plastic Cover Modification

Hello There:

Does anyone have a link to the forum explaining how to modify the plastic around the fuel tank filler when you install the trail tank....or the procedure? My 2010 XTX came with the trail tank from the dealer and wanted to finish the look. Unfortunately I forgot to bookmark and thought it would be easy to find, but no luck.

trim it with a razor knife real neat and careful and trim it with door edge molding
