I have installed two kits in my cars and one in my sled, they all are plug and play so far. plug in your controller to one headlight plug, this is where the controller is told to use high or low beam. There will be a ground and power. I don't think you should be riding a sled if you can't figure out those three things.
If you want to make it cleaner, you can cut and splice the extra wire that comes with the kit, I just piled it up inside the pod and tied it off.
You will need to take your rubber seal from the back of your light and cut a larger center in it for the bulb. If you go to my sled build, you can see it.
