Transfer adjustment rod question

I got a stupid question. If I want to remove some of the weight transfer out of my 2007 Vector using the tool box gauge in the sled, do I turn the big aluminum bolt in so the gage moves to the min side of the gauge markers or turn it out so the gauge reads to the Max on the gage markers? Stock is two lines left from the max marks on the gauge.
Some of the forums are not making sense to me that discribe there changes. Can the remaining two lines left on the gauge make a huge difference in handling, or do I have this adjustment totally backwards?
