transfer rod ajust question

I put new shocks in rear skid of an 05 rage today. from hygear sweet!!! I was told to not pull center shock down with straps. im afraid i will loose some ski pressure. can the transfer rods ajust to put more ski pressure. not sure exactly how thay work. thanks.

It won't put more pressure on but if you adjust to couple sooner( less transfer) it will hold the pressure on your skis and be more posative, more transfer will let the rear couple later which lets more weight transfer to the rear, less on the skis during accelaration and will also give you a softer ride and will bottom easier in the bigger bumps. The transfer rods affect ride quality more in your and the pro action suspensions than in the mono which it's more a separate adjustment but still does affect ride just not as much.
