Anyone have a trick or two they would like to share on getting the skid bolts back in, I tried the front bolts first then couldn"t line up the rear bolts. Then tried the rear bolts first still no luck, I also collapsed the front of the skid and wired it down giving me more slack in the track, no luck. Any ideas would be great.

tilt sled on side and install one of the rear bolts, flip sled over and install other one. lay sled down and the front two will line up perfectly. worked best for me.

Wrap a ratchet strap around the front and rear suspension arms and ratchet it tight until the arm lines up with the hole. Works perfect.

you can also unbolt the torsion spring from the rail...takes 2 mins..will help with all the grief
Thank You , for all your quick replies , with three different ways to do this I can't go wrong. Thanks again.

like DB.....take the extra few minutes to remove lower torsion guides...this allows the rear arm to move easy...i also pull the top idlers when trying to get the dam thing back inside the track.

Easiest, cleanest, and least amount of screaming is to just pull those torsion spring clips on the rails. Then everything just lines up really easy. Just like loosening the transfer rods on the old Rx-1 and before sleds.

loosen springs and axle. Then loosen track the whole way. I always hang it with a tie down so I can move the tunnel up and down easily. Its always a pain till you do it a few times then you can have it in and out within an hour at the most.
