Truth about Fox Floats

I didn't like the floats the first year. I decided to try the Hygear Dual Pressure Kit. Basically same thing as evols. I cannot feel in harshness in the handlebars like I did last year. Very compliant in studders and can handle the big stuff without bottoming. I run 75 in main and 140 in evol. At $300, it is well worth it in my opinion. Next year I'm going with Elka Stage 5's in the track.

I have the highly specialized Floats on mine. I had them revalved and am just getting dialed in, but initial impressions are that they are going to be fantastic.

One thing that I learned from Mike Carver is that people tend to compensate for the overly harsh valving by reducing pressure. I am now running more pressure than I was prior to having him revalve and the ride is better yet.

Thanks for all the input on this. has been very helpful.
