Hi guys, Looking for a little advice.
Trying to get more ski lift out of the attak. I have moved to my last hole on my limited strap. (all the way out). I have also moved the bar to max weight transfer. It has lighten the front end some, but I'm looking for more. I was hoping with the 136" I would be more comfortable when we went off trail, but as of right now I'm a submarine or snowplow. We came to a road crossing with snowbanks, everyone else hit the throttle and popped right over the bank. The attak and I plowed right through it. Big hole in the bank pretty funny, but i'm not sure if i'm proud the bank couldn't stop the attak or bummed that I could get the front end up off the ground to get over it.
thx guys
Brad

Definately wider ski's..........You might also want to consider those "A" Arm skids. I bet they will help some.

Hi... Here is what I did to help. On my Attak I just removed the controll rod all together. Yep it's gone. I had 200 miles on when I took it off and now have over 700. It's staying off !!! Love it this way. You will be able to controll the weight transfer with the throttle. You will need to learn good throttle control. This may not be a good idea for trail riding but in the woods, lakes, and deep snow, it's a hoot. Anothe BIG improvement was that I added the ski-doo pilot 6.9 mountian skis to my attak, holly cow what a diffarance! No darting ,steers easy and floats well. Super ski !
Mountain Skis And A Arm protectors will help BIG Time...
had them since day 1

SLUSH , how much ski pull and transfer do you get with the control rod out.I'm used to Cats that transfer hard and you can burp the gasto hop a drift. My Attak goes straight forward and spins all the way with only a couple of inches of ski lift NEEDS MORE TRANSFER.I also only ride stubble fields, river flats, and cross country.Hardly ever trails.

thanks guys for the advice.
I'm running 7"1/4 C&A skis (widest i could find)
taking the control rod out sounds scary, but if thats what I have to do to get these skis off the ground so be it. Slush 500 hundred miles and your happy with it out. Do you do much trail riding?

Slush, I'm too am interested.
I wonder if this is similar to removing the ACM controller in the sc-10 I had in my last machZ. When I did that it was wheelie city. I got use to adjusting front end lift with my thumb. I really loved the way the sled rode after that. It was so much easier to launch the sled. People thought I was crazy saying that I would loose trailability but like I said, I controlled the front with my thumb and it worked great! I had no issues running thru the twisties and boy was it a blast coming out of a turn with the ski's a foot off the ground. The moment I let off the throttle the weight of the front end instantly planted the ski's when I needed to turn. You got me excited now, I loved riding my Mach like that
The reliability issues was the Machs downfall
