Do the new Apex's have Tunnel supports?

You know, the braces that are attached to the running boards. Most sleds have them now for extra support, so the running boards don't get bent down on hard landings.

Rotax i see you were on HCS too. I ride with voodoochild but i wasnt sure on his question. For some reason i dont "think" they have them but i would expect them to be stronger than cat because of the heat exchanger under the apex.

Ya, I never heard of the running boards bending on an Rx-1 let alone the Apex.

im gonna tell him next time i see him that he needs to drop that cat mentality! He really liked my rx1 and we test rode the Apex/Attak he he loved them i just think hes having trouble making the switch, hes been talking about it for years!

Generally the reason you see them on other sleds is because most manufacturers have gone to only having the heat exchangers either under the tunnel or in the outter edge of the running board rib. On a Yamaha with the heat exchangers tied into the bottom and the side of the tunnel there is no need for them.
