Have an 06 Apex with a FPP rear mount, gt2554r, I need a new air filter for it, the original one is pretty shabby, cant seem to find any information on what came on it, wondering if anyone has a part number for a K&N or equivalent, preferably a "funnel top" filter, or a replacement original. Also a prefilter

The old Bender and newer FPP's came with a coarse foam Uni-Filter snow-filter with a Outerwears sock over it that didn't plug up with snow or water. You might want to contact Uni with some dim's maybe.
The K&N's are nice if you are grass or ice drag racing, but not so much for trail riding. The paper element of a K&N doesn't flow sufficient air for a turbo when it gets wet, chokes off the flow like trying to breathe through a wet towel... When you get in a powdery condition the snow dust kicking up around the back of the sled gets drawn in and melts, the steam / moisture gets sucked through the filter and soaks it.
