I have a 2012 nytro mtx with a push turbo installed. Its hitting the rev limiter when i have the throttle pinned. I'm not shure what kind of rpms I'm pulling. But I will make note next time I ride. On my secondary clutch I have installed the new helix that came with the turbo kit. I have the spring in hole number 6 on the secondary. On the primary I have added weight to the outside hole on the flyweights . What do I need to do to lower the rpms. The next step I was gonna take is add more weight. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is it an adjusable helix like a Shockwave? You can change the pitch of it to lower RPM's

add weight, steeper secondary angle, primary spring with less ending force.
I'm going through the same thing right now.
I'm going to puta 47 helix, 4.5 gram rivet in the tip, change the primary spring. And I am thinking about adding a washer under the rivet.
I have a RTX though so different weights than you. I have not tried it yet but I will be this weekend. Last weekend I was hitting the rev limiter with ease.

They sent you a 45 degree helix. Make sure you are running around 90 if not more twist on your secondary. There are numbers on the inner sheave and outer than you add up to come up with your twist angle. Also what color spring do you have in the secondary? I would recommend the white from yamaha as it is pretty stiff. I actually run a cat green spring in our push kits, works very well.
You should have your stock weights loaded with the 17.7 rivets from yamaha if your using the stock weights, or you can switch to 8bu weights and run less weight and smaller rollers, which would give you more belt squeeze.

Thanks for the info
Yes they did send a 45 degree helix. I am running stock weights. I will load them up.Not shure what spring I have in there. I will find out tomorrow. If possible could you explain how to add up the numbers on the inner sheave and outer to come up with angle. 90

Inner spring placement number + outer spring placement number. Multiply with 10.

I'm new to clutch tuning so please bare with me here. On my clutch as it sits right now, the the inner spring is in hole 3 and the outer spring is in hole 6. So that would mean I am at 90 correct? Also I have the white yamaha spring that was recommended HYFLYR. So if my secondary is set up right now all I need to do is add more weight in primary. Right now I have 4.5 grams on the outside hole but I'm going to put 4.5 grams in every hole. Any thoughts
