ok want to put one in. Can I do it my self? No hi boost for me. I just want normal 87 pump gas. What turbo? alpine,x-press? Any probles with them as fare as relibitly of the motor? can you help me with making up my minded?

Thanks

BlueRocket: There are a lot of guys on here that know more than I do, but I think most will agree that you will be running 91-93 octane even under low boost.

I don't think I would even consider 87 octane on a turbo or SC.

;)!

why, i do not know thatmuch about turbos at all. all i know is more horse power, and a little better gas milage. Help me under stand?

Alpine and MCX are the two nicest kits out there. Their componants and welds are top notch. Fit and finish is like OEM.
The drawback to the Alpine kit is the loss of 1.5 gallons of fuel and under hood heat. Fuel controller you can use to adjust fuel mapping
The MCX has a small amount of lag and the power comes on very smooth on the Apex. Cant change fuel mapping with out spending $ on special guage. Really dont need to mess with the fuel mapping.
My next sled will have an MCXpress. Very impressed with the quality of the Apex and Phazer kits.

ok colder air, turbo lage, boost, power, oil pressure, rear mount front mount. Thanks for the link.

Ok I live in Ontiaro Canada and and do a lot of trail riding, like off trail riding. Want the power,it will go on 04 RXworrier. The custom sled shop sells alpine, should i have them install one for me or do it my self? What shuld I pay for a turbo?

With our noise police Blue Rocket you might want to concider a supercharger with stock exhaust. Im a trail rider so I opted for the turbo. I love my powderlites front mount turbo its awesome and hauls serious #*$&@ on 12 psi on 91 octane pump fuel!
