Heading up to Twins this friday 2/27 with brother in law(he has a warrior also) .....just wondering if anyone was interested in riding with us we are staying at a hotel across from fosters gen. store(cant remember name)...Heading up early friday morning and coming home sometime sunday....I hope the snow they got this weekend helped the trails, can anyone give us some info on what the trails look like?.....thanks in advance for info

I am always looking for people to ride with. I will not be around this weekend. Please keep me in mind if you go again. I rode last Saturday. Eventhough we need more snow trial 5N out TM and the Berlin area were excellent. Plenty of snow. We had a great time. Getting to those locations were a challenge sometimes. Keep in touch. Have a great ride, Dana.

Paul- Save some grief and head an hour North to Colebrook then East to Errol/Dixville, Twin is beat and did not get a lot of snow over the weekend. Ride Errol to Canada lots of snow a awesome trails.

Paul I ride the area all the time.. I will be up there friday 2/27 look out for a blue SxViper with a american flag on the windshield.. Flag me down if you see me.. I will be heading north toward pittsburgh... Want to do a 200+ mile day on friday.. Could be my last ride of the season as this weekend is going to hit 40 in Twin.. :(

Oh the hotel is Carrols Motel..

The trails looked like crap last weekend.. They didn't get jack for snow on Friday night / Saturday.. Then sunday we had a mini blizzard for a while... 6 inches or more... No grooming what so ever, thou.. :( I am a died hard twin rider.. Have my trailer stored at a friends cottages and have one rented all winter long.. You wil go right by on the way to your hotel.. Head north if you want trail names and more info let me know I have the best trails memorized..

If you can get out of your booking of that hotel and get something close to Nash stream or Coleman state park you will have a much better ride.. FYI...

Twin Mt. / Bretton Woods / Faybian's

I was just up there for a week. Trails were in good shape. BUT

FYI: Feb 29th, Sunday.......They, whomever they are, are allowing a huge
cross country ski race on most of the trails in that area. They are all posted asking snowmobilers to find alternative routes. Most of all the main access trail are being used. Big CC Ski race.

just an FYI.

Myself and three others are going to northern NH for two days of riding. Can you tell me where to go and not to go? I would like to find some good trails if there are any. Thanks.

Boston, it's difficult to beat the Diamond Pond / Pittsburg area, but the Snodeo will be on this coming Friday / Saturday, so the trails will be very busy.

The best trail conditions site for the area is www.trailconditions.com. I also have a bunch linked from the club website I maintain (www.moultonborosmc.com). The trail conditions page is www.moultonborosmc.com/trail_conditions.htm: scroll down to the links at the bottom for weather conditions, snow depth and most of the NH trail reports.

Supposedly the trails north of Milan (on Rt 16) and Groveton (Rt 3) are in excellent condition. If you look at the snowdepth map (linked from our website), northern NH has excellent snow right now.

When are you going up? I'm going up on Friday afternoon late, may stay in Rangeley and ride over for the Snodeo early Saturday. I'm planning to ride Pittsburg / DIamond Pond / Rangeley Saturday, and then head out on a multi-overnighter early Sunday from Rangeley towards Moosehead Lake, returning home Thursday. If work doesn't get in the way like it has the last several weeks...

T, I am going up early Friday and riding until late Saturday. We will be dropping in Groveton both days and riding north. If you see a blue shortie with an M10 and a Blue XC with saddle bags, please make yourself known. I know the riding season is coming to an end. I hope we can hookup next year. We are staying at the Cabot Motor Inn in Lancaster, NH. Thanks, Dana.
