I know a few of you have done the TY ride in Michigan. Being new to Yamaha and this site, I have a few questions:
1. From the pictures, it looks like a blast. Is it trail only, or do you guys go out and "play"?
2. When would I know the dates?
Any help would be great. Thanks

Yes, the TY rides are good fun and a chance to meet other sled heads. Always a good time. Depending upon the location and day, there is some off trail riding.
Mr Sled normally sets the season dates for the next season in October.

Ty Ride
have talked about going on a Ty Ride for the past few seasons, have not made it yet. I ride with seven others who also ride yamaha's, but we do have one ski-doo with us. Hopefully that would not shun us.
Tried to hook up with the last ride in Muni last year but missed out. Definitley want to make one of the rides this year.

Quite a few times the group splits up.
Some go the trail route and some of us go the boonin.
Me I like off trail. Seems I am riding trails less and less every year. There are a few that even taylored their sled for boondocking.
Try a ride they are a BLAST!!!!! Some of the best people I have had the pleasure of knowing and riding with.

We will let any make ride with us.
This how I got one of my buddies to switch from the yellow. He was and still is impressed w/ the small community that this site has created.dox06 said:have talked about going on a Ty Ride for the past few seasons, have not made it yet. Although we're a Yamaha bunch, we wouldn't make anybody feel like an outsider for riding something else..
Heck, one of our moderators got a good deal on a Polaris, and rode that on our rides last season.. It doesn't really matter...

A Ty ride is something you have to expierence.
I love riding but meeting these people on the ride is the best part and sharing stories after the ride in the lounge or garage depending on where they stay.
