He never posted a top speed but my attack will hit 122 on the speedo with no problem and it feels like it has more but I run out of room.I only have 450 miles and its totally stock.

Get a GPS on it, a smallone at Wal Mart for 200 $... Cause mine shows 115 on speedo and 109 on GPS.... with still room for more alson... but GPS within 1 MPH off the Radar...

I already posted on the powertec 800 that handed us all we wanted on the rr bed,it was the 06 etec 8 and we ran it with my boys rtx and my buds apex gt and both of them sleds have seen 115-118 gps and this doo ran both of us down on top end,some run real well,take it for what its worth,there is always someone faster,and not all apex attaks are running 115 gps some guys are struggling to hit 100 gps if they hook onto one it might look shameful.

I was in Gaspe" on tour and this is what happened..My 15 th trip into QU.....Your not going to catch that 800ho if he has any kinda breakaway. A group of guys in Gaspe' as soon as they saw us coming they took off in front of us . Me leading I thought I'll run the bastards down. I couldn't catch them , not even the last guy .. and I was to the pin, for more than a half an hour... And bye the way snow dust doesn't bother me it just pisses me off until you get closer. Iam the guy out there from Ontario , if you piss me off I'LL bump your saddlebags at full tilt. Those things just plain rock.......

I ran with a Blair Morgan edition 800 Rev this past weekend, and I was able to get him 2 out of 3 times. The time he took me, I was getting real freaked out by the narrow trail and let off.
Out of the 14 sleds that went away with us, his was the only one that could even come close to me.
I was barely able to break 100 on the dream meter though....but I was running with shredded idlers and I tightened my track pretty tight. We were on trails too, so I couldn't hold it wide open for too long.

Something is wrong . I have raced 3 800 revs 03,04,06 and not one has been close. My srx's do not have a problem either.
Why would it be BS?? I was just told about this site. Yes, I only have 3 posts. So what.... My attack is running just fine. Great actually. The Rev wasn't a renegade. It was a X model. It has the roller secondary, stk though. I'm telling you guys, that thing is quick. I have hit 112 on my Attack speedo, but all my yammi's had a bit of overspeed on them.... My buddies always say mine should be quick, it is 1000cc. He was faster with 800. And he also said something about their new 800 this year. up over 150hp. whew.......journeyman said:

If you haven't looked under the hood, you can't be sure... I know a lot of 800 that are very far from stock and sorry, they will chew you up if you try them with anything less than a turbo...
But stock to stock, i thing i depends who has a good machine out of the box...

I did not say it was b.s. I said "something is wrong". Every rev I have raced it has not even been close. My speedo reads 126 on a hard packed road and I weigh over 300 with gear.
Dude, 126 on the speedo isn't 126. This is my 5th yamaha and they all are reading high. That's why a lot of people call the yama speedo the dream-o-meter. They are fast but not 126. I love my yamaha but so many other yami rider think they are way fast on topend cause of that. And btw, someone else asked if it was BS. Not you. Sorry for the confusion....baknblk said:
