Actually from what I've found if you clutch the sled even new with 0 miles on it the performance is just as good as a broken in motor. You will however have to adjust the clutching as the engine "loosens up" and seems to make it's power easier. For example on my 05 RX-1 I started out at 59 grams of weight and now up to 63 total grams. Just keep adjusting as the engine spins easier and easier.
