Hi, I am a fairly new owner of a 09 Nytro XTX. I love it, the power is great but I wanted a little more so I have decided to order Ulmers stage 3 kit which comes with the Header, intake, plugs and clutch kit. I would just love to hear everyones opinion on this set up and what type of diference this will make to my sled. Thanks, Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running same kit, feels snappier ,holeshot thru midrange, Thats all in the clutching. I would put the K&N kit on last, Try machine with out first. I think its way too noisy up front for me ,but the header does produce power. Happy so far. You will notice by the seat of your pants. And thats how we snowmobiles believe the money was well spent.. ;)!

my sled has every performance part ulmer sells on it besides a turbo and it feels good , i however have never rode a bone stock nytro to tell you the difference.... its definately not as fast or poweful as i was hoping for but still pretty stout for a 600cc class sled

ulmer seems to have a cult-like following on here so my guess is whatever you buy from him or anybody else that is a vendor on here will show performance gains..... jmo

I just took my sled out this past weekend for a trip around the field after I got it back together with all the mods from Ulmers, along with the corbra track and curve ski's.

Down low rolling on the throttle it does feel softer than stock. From what little room I had, when I bliped the throttle, it seamed to hit much harder.

Last season I ran Ulmers clutch kit in my Nytro with stock exhaust. The clutch kit worked really good. Sled pulled in all areas. Bottom end, mid range, and top end.

This season I installed Excell header with stock muffler. First I ran the same clutch set up as last season with the header. I was over reving to 9200-9300 rpms and hitting fuel cut off. The header was definately making power. I added more weight to the tip of the clutch weights. The sled now pulls 9000 rpms.

The sled runs hard. The Ulmer clutch kit and header work great together.
Air box is stock.
