I put C&A razors to diminish darting, probably 50-60% better. So after, i shimmed my skis but the Razors didn't point down much in stock form... So shimming pointed them up (1/8 inch shims... ) maybe a little too much. And darting was a little better maybe to 75% gone but steering got so heavy that i think I prefer not shimmed... I also increased transfer on the bar. and I'll settle for that... still a little darting but lighter steering is better overall... And I wonder if it is really better to have only the back of the carbides touching on ice, why pay for more carbides if only the back is touching... and when they get used, will they not become flat again anyway??

I shimmed my skis also and did not like the results (heavy steering). I removed the shims and installed Woody's Doolies, Darting gone and light steering.

i put on 4 inch doolys and they work great, light sterring and zero darting, notpicked so i didnt want to go with longer carbide. sled has a push in tight cornering but i am convinced that it if is heavy that it is going to push anyway, it just makes me work more and i can afford it!!!
