i 'm trying to install my extrovert, but when i want to remove the reverse, the cover move only about 2 inch, and he seem to be hold by something with a spring.

Any idea ??? :?:

Remove the 10mm bolt holding the linkage to the chaincase cover. You need to move the reverse shaft more than the linkage allows, so after unbolting the linkage the reverse arm should be able to unhook from the gear. Hard to describe...once you have it apart you'll see what was holding it.

Yeah, that one confused me too for all of 37 seconds. The vertical rod hooks into a triangular piece that bolts into the cover. When you pull the cover off, the vertical rod is forced UP, which turns the triangular thing towards the cover, and eventually hits before its off completely.

Word of advise: there is one very tiny spring in there between two parts that will try to jump out. Keep an eye out for it.
