I bought my 06 apex mountain used, with an Excell undertunnel exhaust kit already on it and a Mountain Mod seat. Really love the set-up and the sled runs fantastic....and the sound?...holy be-jeezus, this thing sounds like an Indy race car..unbelievable!
BUT...alas, for where I mostly ride here in Colorado, its just too loud and I'm tired of getting harassed by the rangers and mostly, the stink eye from the other user groups, so I'm looking for an alternative.
I have searched all over the web and come up with some old info discussing some options, but nothing that blew my skirt up so far. Anyone here have any suggestions as to where I should be looking? I contacted Excell themselves and all Erin could do was confirm that "Yes, it's loud" but they did the best they could.
If I find a good substitute, Id be stoked to sell this Excell pipe if anyone is interested

Correction: I guess technically it's actually a tunnel dump exhaust not a true under tunnel, as the pipe resides under the seat
