givemeaboost, the seat cushion and top frame came from R&M. I only had to make the upright supports and cloth sides. The seat attaches by "hooks" that go under the front bars and then pins that clip in the back bar. The pins go in the small holes in the back flat support bar.

Is it special made for you ? I e-mailed them last fall and they said that they weren't going to make a seat for the rx1. How much did it cost for the top and seat ? Ken.

Special made only because I requested it. They are making a seat for a "special" RX-1 someone was making. I requested only the top portion because of the design of their supports. They aren't making a seat due exhaust/tailight on the RX. That wasn't my issue

My kid took my old exhaust into the myffler shop yesterday to have them cut it at the "x", weld on a glass pack and a 30 degree down. We pick up our second 03mtn tonight and can't wait to try the pipe on it. I'll let you know how it works with stock airbox and jetting.

Yup..but cheaper. Picked it up tonight. It's sad cause the guy put a ton of money into it pimping it out, but never rode it. It has 400 miles on it, has antiratchets, simmons and a quiet mpi pipe and we got it for $4400. We are going to sell the pipe, simmons, and strip it. Going to do everything I've done, including holz rear, rider fwd, hartman extension, tupperware airbox, clutching, yellow springs, battery relocate, powder pros, but are going with the ytz10s battery. Instead of the excell exhaust we are trying the glass pack, and a boss seat we already own. Also going to pass on the lightweight rotor, steering, and a-arms. Total weight loss still 80lbs. After selling what we don't want we figure we'll have a total of 6K into it.
