Is there enough room under there to completely close off the tunnel and run an under tunnel exhaust like on the Nytros (I would measure myself but haven't picked mine up yet and trying to get parts on the way). Cant really find anything conclusive searching. Thanks
pretty sure there is not enough room. If you look at the nytro the tunnel is quite a bit deeper

I don't think you will have enough room. I know some people that had problems with bottoming out on the phazer's. I think the track would hit the pipe.
I did see one on ebay but they did not closed off the tunnel. I would measure for you but me tunnel is already closed off.

Did almost the next best thing ... opened up the muffler and changed the exhaust outlet from exiting at the rear to exiting through the bottom with a slight angle towards the back. Have done this to both of the phazers and the two nytros as well .... seems to work pretty good and opens up a lot more rear storage.

Most aftermarket offer turn-out exhaust so under tunnel isn't really necessary to still carry gear on the tunnel

I've wondered the same thing, and though I agree that there probably is not enough room, it may be possible to use oval tubing to gain a little more clearance. Obviously this would require a fair amount of fabrication, possibly including the muffler itself.

agreed! I think it can be done but would require alot of special pieces and fab work. Just a side note: when my coupler block busted the track was rubbing hard on the top of tunnel and I didn't figure it out till I got home. If that happened with under tunnel you would be stuck in the field for sure.
