I changed the oil on my apex and left the plug on the dipstick unhooked. Sled ran fine at low RPM but had no power wide open. Boost gauge read 10lbs, tach 11k and it felt like stock power. I hooked the plug back up but it had snow in it and still ran bad. Took the plug off dried it out and hooked it back up and then the sled ran fine. Any ideas what was going on?

maybe with no oil gauge reading it was running in safe mode only???

I have ran without being plugged in. No problems. You are probably hitting the rev limiter at 11K RPM.

The sled never hits 11k when it's running right. Does the sled store error codes? If so, how do I pull them up?

Unhooked the pod and then it run very bad, backfiring and everything. Maybe som diagnostic system that seenses that something's not right and limit's the engine....??
