Well, I have removed the pro action skid and compaired the SC 10 III to the 03 proaction. The biggest difference is that the front arm mount is much further back than the proaction. I had to make a new hole in the tunnel for the SC 10 that was 5 1/2 " further back and 1 3/4 " further up in the tunnel. Now I need to make some reinforcing plates for the front hole and the rear drop's. I plan to use 3/16 aluminum plate for the reinforcing. I will have to rivot the plates to the tunnel (I may use 1/4" x1/2" ss bolts). The skidoo suspension arms are approx 1/2" narrower that the yamaha arms so the 3/16 plates should take up the extra clearance nicely. I will need to measure a SC10 III installed in a sled to get an accurate c-c measurement for the location of the rear drop mount.
I have noticed that the SC 10 III has nearly 2 1/2" more front arm travel than the Pro action. This should make the studder bumps melt away nicely.
I will post pics when I am done.
