Had a bright, perhaps not so bright, idea the other day.
I came across an '05 seat cover from a vector and I have access to a damaged '03 seat.
The thought is to skin the damaged '03 seat and build up the foam and contour it to match the '05 cover.
The question is, are the '03 and '05 bases the same? I'm assuming so since they interchange on the sleds. Then again we all know what assuming will get ya.
Thoughts, feelings?

Go for it, it'll fit. Just make sure that the foam isn't too thick at the front, otherwise it won't fit under the tank cover.

I got a new 05 vector cover. black and silver I will give you a good deal . 125 shipped to the us. Its new in the box, my seat had a small hole when I bought the sled so I got them to include the new cover in the deal. ,Just never used it. let me know if your intrested . Mikedgates@frontiernet.net
i just brought my 03 seat to a local apolstry shop added 1 inch of h.d. foam using the original cover.he did an awsome job.unless it was parked next to another 03 you couldnt tell.$105.00
ive installed many seat covers for my dealer and the 05 seat pan and cover are the same. the 03 seat cover will fit over the 05 seat
